Post frequently, engage often and stay current.
When using social media for your business you should follow these three rules.
Posting often ( my rule of thumb is once a day), helps keep you in front of people, reminding them that you are there. However! You do not want to spam post your followers either.
When posting frequently, the hope is to drive engagement. What the social media platforms are looking for are real conversations happening in the comments. They want to see connections on social media. When this happens, the platforms will reward you by putting you in front of more people. The algorithm sees the conversation as ‘good’ content. The better the content, the longer users stay on that platform – which is exactly what they want.
When posting and engaging on social media – stay current with your business, community topics, niche and things that make you stand out. For example, Hannah & I both work with online platforms that are ALWAYS changing. We are always learning and posting updates of changes as well as tricks we have learned for other businesses to utilize.
